The Wayway Wolverines dropped a 3-1 decision in OCN on last night (THU). Without their leading scorer Jason Bowles, top defenseman Cody Danychuk and skilled forward Niko Grose, the Wolverines got out to an early 1-0 lead on a goal from Shane Gray, assisted by linemated Jerrett Bicknell and Evan Durnin. From there, Blizzard goalie Michael Dizgun shut the door, making 35 saves on 36 shots. Jordan Sinclair scored twice for OCN, and added one assistwhile Dale Warkentin had the other. Carey Dyck took the loss, making 23 saves. Wayway's powerplay went 0-for-5, and the loss means the Wolverines have yet to clinch 4th in the Sherwood Division.
