Fort Knox finished the regular season in first place in the PJHL's South Division (30-10-0-2), and earned a first round playoff date with the Regina Capitals. The Best-of-Seven opens up Friday (Feb/27) in Fort Qu'Appelle at 8:00.Game 2: Sun/Mar/1 @ Regina 1:45

The Prairie Junior Hockey League also released its award winners this week.
Four awards went to the Knox, including 2 to goaltender Curtis Timmerman (pictured). Timmerman (from Melville) posted a record of 24-9, a GAA of 2.33, .917%, and 2 shutouts, en route to being named the league's MVP and Top Goaltender.
Dane Bonish led Fort Knox in points (38-24-31-55), and was named the PJHL's Rookie of the Year (Graham Christie Memorial Trophy).
Knox Captain Jarrett Waldbauer (41-22-30-52) picked up the award for Most Sportsmanlike Player. Waldbauer was assessed just 4 minutes in penalties during the regular season.
