Campbell Notches 3 Points in Women's U-18 Opener

Melville's Jessica Campbell moved away from home this season to join the Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy in Kelowna, B.C., despite being just 16 years of age, and eligible to play for her hometown Melville Fox FM Prairie Fire.

For the next few days, Campbell will be much further from home than that, as she's part of Canada's World Women's Under-18 Hockey Squad competing in Fussen, Germany.

Canada kicked off the tournament yesterday (MON) with a 16-1 drubbing of Switzerland, and Campbell picked up a goal and 2-assists.

Team Canada meets Finland today.
