One More Pre-Christmas Post

- Melville beat Melfort 6-2 to head into the Christmas Break with a 4-point cushion atop the Sherwood Conference, and still 2 games in hand on second place Weyburn.  

- Wayway returned the favour against Neepawa, beating the Natives 3-2 in overtime.  Niko Grose scored a shorthanded goal for in his Wolverines' debut, while Logan Dew potted the overtime winner.

- Looks like Swan Valley played a lot better last night.  They fell 3-1 to the top-seeded Saints, after Friday's 9-1 loss.

- Jamie Fiesel's going to Port Alberni B.C. as an Ass't Coach for Team West at the World U-17's.  I talked to feez and ran the interview on the radio but forgot to post it here before I took off.

- Yorkton Harvest are leaving Christmas morning for the Mac's Tournament in Calgary.  They play the Vancouver Canadians on Boxing Day.

- World Juniors kick off boxing day in Ottawa!

- I'm off to Saskatoon right away until Christmas Morning, then comin' back to the farm.
