December 1st Aftermath

Hope you weren't staying up 'til midnight waiting for that big blockbuster, because it didn't come... in any league. Here's a brief overview of what our local teams wound up doing.

Yorkton Terriers

- Terriers TRADE 1990 F Brad Bienenvu to the Sioux Lookout Flyers (SIJHL) for future considerations.

- Terriers RE-ASSIGN 1990 F Brett Holloway to Fort Knox (PJHL).

- Terriers RE-ASSIGN 1990 F Gabe Gardipy and 1990 D Chad Crozier to the Ochapowace Thunder (PJHL).

Melville Millionaires
"If there were some big fish in the sea, I'm sure we'd all be trying to get them, but there wasn't a lot of player movement. Teams just felt like they should free up some cards so eventually they can maybe add somebody, and at the same time, we just don't need players sitting in the stands, watching games, taking stats, they need to play. - Coach/GM Jamie Fiesel

Swan Valley Stampeders
Jeff (Peel)'s a Manitoba guy, and had a pretty good "AAA" career in Manitoba, he brings a good work ethic, ability and attitude coming from the Southwest Cougars, so we're looking forward to getting him in the lineup. - Coach/GM Guy Vestby.

Wayway Wolverines
