Stamps Squander Lead, Pull Out OT Win

Whether you cheer for Wayway or Swan, last night's game was a see-saw affair.
The Stampeders played a pretty solid first half of the game for being on the road, leading 2-0 after one and 3-0 early in the second.

But 9 seconds after the Stamps scored their third goal, Logan Dew replied for the Wolverines... Richard Little added another 5 minutes later, and late in the third, with the goalie out, Jerrett Bicknell pounced on a rebound with 33 seconds left to force overtime.

In overtime, the Stamps got a powerplay and made good, when Justin Giesbrecht tipped in a Ryan Marshall point shot. Also scoring for the Stamps on the night were Myles Stevens, Jared Whincup and Ryan Griffiths.

Swan Valley was out-shot 45-23, with Chris Ward stellar again, making 42 saves.

In four meetings this season, last night was the third time the Stamps and Wolverines have gone to overtime.
