Jason Argue - Parkland Rangers
He may be a rookie, but Parkland Rangers goaltender Jayson Argue played like a veteran last weekend and for his efforts, he has been named the DEKALB Defensive Player of the Week. The 15-year-old rookie, who travels from Swan River to Dauphin (a return trip of 200 miles) for practices and games, stopped 39 of 41 shots in the 57 minutes he played Saturday to backstop the Rangers to a 6-3 win over Interlake. On Sunday, he stopped 42 of 44 shots in a 5-2 loss to Pembina Valley Hawks.
