National Rankings

I wouldn't wanna be the guy in charge of the weekly Top 15 CJAHL rankings, simply because that's a whole lot of teams to sift through and decide who's number 1 through 15, when all league's are likely a little different in calibre, etc.

But it is a little puzzling, how Melville won 8 in a row, then lost one, and dropped in the rankings, and this week, lost 2 in a row, and went up 4 spots. They're now ranked #9 in the country, while Humboldt's slipped to third behind Portage and Weyburn's got themselves an honourable mention.

1. (1) Sherwood Park Crusaders (AJHL)
2. (3) Portage Terriers (MJHL)
3. (2) Humboldt Broncos (SJHL)
4. (5) Les Cougars du College Champlain - Sherbrooke (LHJAAAQ)
5. (4) Pembroke Lumber Kings (CJHL)
6. (6) North Bay Skyhawks (NOJHL)
7. (12) Spruce Grove Saints (AJHL)
8. (14) Salmon Arm Silverbacks (BCHL)
9. (13) Melville Millionaires (SJHL)
10. (7) Fort William North Stars (SIJHL)
11. (8) Georgetown Raiders (OJHL)
12. (15) Miramichi Timberwolves (MJAHL)
13. (11) Victoria Grizzlies (BCHL)
14. (6) Lindsay Muskies (OJHL)
15. (9) Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL)

Honorable mention goes to the Brooks Bandits (AJHL), Okotoks Oilers (AJHL), Powell River Kings (BCHL), Couchiching Terriers (OJHL), Oakville Blades (OJHL), Dauphin Kings (MJHL), Weyburn Red Wings (SJHL), and the Truro Bearcats (MJAHL).
