Metz To Melville

The Melville Millionaires are happy to announce the addition of 18-year-old forward Brayden Metz, who was re-assigned by the WHL's Moose Jaw Warriors.

The Regina product had 2-goals in 13 games with the Warriors this season, after an early season trade with the Chilliwack Bruins. With the Bruins as a 17-year-old last season, Metz put up 4-goals, 6-assists and 10-points in 48 games. He also saw time in Chilliwack, and Regina as a 16-year-old (2-games each), and even played 4 games with his hometown Pats when he was just 15.

Bad news, the Mils are also going to be without local product Aaron Decorby for the next month with a lower body injury, so Metz is expected to join Levi Lind and Logan Herauf in Decorby's role.

Metz was the first pick in the second round of the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft, going 21st overall to the Pats.
