Norquay, SK native Kyle Severson's been dealt to the Estevan Bruins by the Swan Valley Stampeders, for 20-year-old defenseman Garrett Lasko, in the second deal between the two teams since the start of the season.Severson was off to a slow start by his standards, with 5 goals and
1 assist in 10 games. 3 of his goals came in a 5-4 win in Winnipeg South. Severson had 27 goals and 45 points in his rookie season last year. Lasko had 9 assists in 56 games last season, and was pointless in 3 games to begin this season.Guy Vestby and Karry Biette also swapped players in early September with forwards Vincein Scott and Galen Matyjanka going to Swan for defenseman Ethan Gardner.
I gave Stamps Coach Guy Vestby a shout this morning.
*NOTE* Video players on all blogger.com sites I've checked are taking an unusually long time to load. When it says Buffering..., it is working, but you literally have to wait a couple minute. I hope that fixes itself soon...***

Tonight, the World Junior 'A' Selection Camp in Yorkton wraps up with an intra-squad game at 7:30. Yorkton's Clark Byczynski and Torey Stott, Melville's Aaron Decorby, Swan Valley goalie Chris Ward and Wayway's Ryan Duhaime are all at the camp.
