Mils, Terriers Sweep P.O.W.

SJHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Winner: Shane Stanicky, Melville Millionaires 1988 F Shane Stanicky (Regina SK) wins SJHL Player Of The Week after getting 3-goals and 2-assists in three games played over the last seven days. All three games were Millionaire victories as Stanicky contributed a goal and two assists in a decision over Battlefords on Friday and then added two more goals a night later in Nipawin. For the season, Stanicky has 12-points in 15-games as he has supplied adequate secondary scoring for the Sherwood Conference leading Mils.
Runners-up: Tyson Melnychuk, Melville; Spencer Braaten, Humboldt; Cody Zubko, Yorkton; Brayden Nargang, Weyburn; Nick Kalnicki, Humboldt; Rylan Schwartz, Notre Dame.

SJHL DEFENSEMAN OF THE WEEK
Winner: Greg Coburn, Yorkton Terriers 1988 D Coburn (Saskatoon SK) has been a workhorse on the back end of the Terriers all season long, often logging more than 30-minutes a game. Last week, Coburn contributed on the scoresheet in all three games played, finishing with a goal and three helpers. For the season, Coburn is Yorkton's second leading scorer with 17-points in 19-games.
Runners-up: Tanner Vandesype, Humboldt; Michael Young, Flin Flon; Kirk Byczynski, Yorkton; Rhys Thomas, Weyburn.

SJHL GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK
Winner: Travis Bosch, Melville Millionaires For the second time this season, 1988 G Travis Bosch (Regina SK) gets the nod. Bosch was a perfect 3-and-0 with a 1.33-GAA and .965-SPCT this past week as the Mils created some breathing room atop the Sherwood Conference. Overall, he's 10-2-1, 2.41, .930.
Runners-up: Ryan Kerpan & Calvin Bartel, Flin Flon; Ryan Nieszner, Kindersley; Joel Danyluk, Yorkton.
