MELFORT-- The Mils can get 3 of a possible 4 points on their road trip if they can pull out a win in Melfort tonight, but it won't be easy. The Mustangs have turned things around much in thanks to newly-acquired goaltender David Tetreault from the AJHL. Tetreault's 6-0-1-0 with a 1.53 GAA and a .945 save percentage since coming to Melfort. The Mils other two goalies who've played this season have combined for a 1-6-0-2 record. Looking forward to seeing this young team tonight (I just hope they don't win!). But especially guys like Blake Hietala and Deven Stillar are tearing it up. Hietala's taken over the team scoring lead, with 10 goals and 18 points. 15 of those points have come in his last 10 games (8-7-15). Stillar's got 9 goals, but he's had that many for awhile. The Sudbury native is without a goal in his last 6 games (0-3-3). The four games before that he scored 6 goals, so he can put the biscuit in the basket.
The Mils will be without their top goal scorer tonight. Aaron Decorby tweaked his knee late in the third period in last night's 3-2 OT loss in Nipawin, and will miss tonight's game. Hopefully, with the Mils having a 10-day break after this one, this will be the only game Aaron and his 9-goals will have to miss.
I'll spill the beans... Goaltender Riley Hengen is getting the start tonight. Riley showed up yesterday with a shaved head, while fellow tender Travis Bosch is going with the bleached blonde. Goalies....
Probably talk to Terence Jorgenson on the player profile tonight... he's a similar situation to last night's guest Jordan Reeve, having missed the first chunk of the season due to injury. Jorgenson's also got some goofy hair going. Buzz cut, with 3 blonde stripes on each side. Feez says he looks like a "Ram."
Second intermission, I'll run my interview with Colorado Avalanche defenseman Brett Clark on our Mils' 100 Years of Memories Feature.
7:20 Pre Game Show, 7:30 Play by Play from the Northern Lights Ice Palace in Melfort.

If you can get to a T.V. between 4:00 and 5:00 SK time today, tune into TSN as Voice of the Riders Rod Pedersen will join Michael Landsberg on Off The Record. Rod's promoting his book, which is all about the Saskatchewan Roughriders' 2007 run to the Grey Cup. Price looks very reasonable... I haven't bought mine, but put it on the Christmas list, and given the price I'm pretty sure I'll get it. Unfortunatley we're checking out of our Nipawin Hotel at 4:15 so I won't catch much if any of OTR.
He's got a link on his blog, which gets roughly 15x the daily hits that this one gets, but incase you hadn't seen it, here's the link to the book. Rod's good people, and works his nuts off, so hopefully this sells an extra book or two for him.
