Round 1 of 8 / Friday Sked

(I'm pretty sure I'm the only person I know with BOTH these jersies in the same living room!)

**Our second intermission guest tonight will be Colorado Avalanche defenseman Brett Clark. Sneak peek available by clicking on the Mils 100 Years of Memories link ----->

GAME NOTES

YOR
- Defenseman GREG COBURN rides an 8-game point streak into tonight's game. He's got one point in each of his last 8 games, totalling 2-goals and 6-assists during that span.

YOR- Rookie TOREY STOTT leads the Terriers in scoring with 10-points (4-6) in 11 games. Stott and defenseman Clark Byczynski were in the Canada West Evaluation camp this week.

YOR- Rhien product EVAN NEIBRANDT leads the team with 4 goals and 4 points at home. Those 4 goals have all come in his last 3 home games. Overall, he's notched 5 goals in his last 6 games.

YOR- Preeceville's CODY ZUBKO's nearly equalled last year's point totals already, and it's interesting how his numbers have flip-flopped over the last 2 years. In 2007-08 he had 11-goals and 2-assists. This season? 1-goal, 8-assists.

YOR- BRETT DERKACH from Ituna is expected to be in the lineup for the first time since scoring his first SJHL over the weekend in La Ronge. Derkach had a goal and an assist that night.

MVL- Goalie TRAVIS BOSCH has still played EVERY MINUTE between the pipes for the Millionaires. Despite playing a league-low 7 games as a team, Bosch is among the league leaders in Minutes Played (421). Not to mention Wins (5), GAA (2.00), SV% (.938) and SO (1).

MVL- KALE DOLINSKI leads the team with 10 points. Only two of them have come with the powerplay.

MVL- Hometown kid AARON DECORBY has a team-high 5 goals. He also appeared in the Canada West Evaluation Camp in Yorkton this week.

MVL- The Millionaires have SIX games in hand on the Estevan Bruins. Estevan's a game under .500 and in third place. Melville's 4 games above .500 and in fourth. The Mils do have the second best winning percentage in the Sherwood Conference (.786), just behind first place Kindersley (.800). Yorkton's third at (.636).

MVL- The Mils had Yorkton's number last year, going 6-and-2 in the regular season, 4-and-0 in the playoffs, 10-and-2 all year, and have won the last 8 head to head meetings (last 4 games of regular season + playoffs).

7:20 Pre Game Show, 7:30 Play by Play on GX94 tonight, bring your radio to the rink!
