Terriers on the Air

Tonight, the 1-and-0 Yorkton Terriers travel to Wilcox to face the 0-and-1 Notre Dame Hounds.

- Yorkton's Jordan Barry will start for the second straight game, after a 31 save performance in Friday's 4-2 win over Weyburn.

- Terrier forward David Skagen is out 3-4 weeks after being hit from behind by Weyburn's Eric Calibaba.

- Bryan Hull is expected to play after taking a knee-on-knee hit Friday. Hull spent 2 seasons with the Hounds before being dealt to the Terriers early last season for G Mark Currie and F Chris Bratina.

- The Hounds and Weyburn shot the lights out in Wilcox last night, with the Red Wings picking up the 7-5 win. 16-year-old Jaden Schwartz had 4 points in his first game of the season (1-3-4). Jaden led the SMAAAHL in scoring by a landslide last year, racking up 111 pts in 44 GP. 18-year-old brother Rylan had a goal and an assist, Kyle Ireland put up 2 goals and 2 assists, and John Esposito had a goal and 2 assists.

It's a late 8:00 start from Wilcox tonight. Myself and Brendan Wagner are on the air with the Pre Game Show at 7:50.

We've got a new contest on the air for Terrier games this year involving the players. Every time the Terriers win on a broadcasted game, the player that scores the WINNING goal gets a 10 dollar gift certificate to Parkland Concessions at the Gallagher Centre.
