100 Years of Memories

I'm running a feature in the second intermission of Mils Broadcasts this year called "100 Years of Memories." First off, I wanna thank Queen Street Plumbing & Heating for coming on board for the broadcasts this year and sponsoring the feature. I'm looking forward to it and I think you'll enjoy the trips down memory lane. Some with guys who were NHL greats, some with guys in their late 70's who played with the Senior Mils, and I even have one with the Junior Mils first ever goaltender from the 1955-56 season, Don Hamilton. Today, I just got off the phone with Ron Hextall, who was kind enough to get back to me to record a feature. I would like YOU to decide who you'd like to hear first, on our first broadcast in Estevan Friday night. I know it's short notice, but I'm putting up a new poll in the top right corner. Whoever's leading by Friday afternoon, I'll run their feature on Friday after the second period. Click away!

Why is the first broadcast of the year is in Estavan isn't the radio station in Yorkton, do us a favor and broadcast more Terrier games.

well, "anonymous", GX94 covers a large listening area, and melville is 20 minutes from yorkton. we treat the two teams equally (we do 15 games for each), as well as the swan valley stampeders and wayway wolverines in the mjhl. i picked the melville @ estevan game because it was a road game for one of our local teams, while yorkton was at home to weyburn. the teams request that we don't do ANY home games (for crowd reasons), or at least as few as possible, and almost all 60 games we're doing this year with our 4 area jr 'a' teams are on the road. if you're a terrier parent from out of town, i understand the frustration, but there's only one of me and i can't be everywhere. we will have monday's game from notre dame, so please tune in.
