Stamps Drop Pre-Season Opener

The Swan Valley Stampeders fell 4-1 in OCN Tuesday night in their first exhibition game of the season. The Stampeders lone goal came on the powerplay from Brendan Mitchell with Dylan Trowell assisting. The game ended with several fights in the dying minutes, proving the Swan/OCN rivalry's alive and well, when an all-rookie pre-season game turns into a melee. Evan Reiffersheid and Dustin Lehne split the duties in net, each allowing a pair of goals. Local product Josh Hohn will be between the pipes at home when the Stamps host the Blizz in a rematch tonight (WED) at the Centennial Arena starting at 7:30.
