Saskatchewan will host the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships, with the Saskatoon/Regina bid winning over Winnipeg/Brandon and Halifax/Moncton. It's our turn. Winnipeg and Halifax have each put on great show in the last few years, and now Saskatchewan will get to host the world's best U20 hockey players over the holidays.
Melville native Hugh Vassos was a key part of Saskatchewan's bid team, and would be a good guy to get in touch with in the next week, so watch for that!
