Farm Blogging

Well, my 10 day "cruise" is about half done and phase two of it has begun.  After a great stay with the fiance in Saskatoon which included a day trip to the pool/waterslide in Pike Lake, and Canada Day fireworks last night, I'm at the farm in Simpson.  I may make fun of it but I do love it here.  Nice and quiet, mom's cooking, pool table in the basement, dad's bad jokes, etc.  And they even got a lite version of hi-speed out here a couple years back so I don't have to tie up the phone line to surf the net.  Another plus.

It's a small world afterall.  Columbus Blue Jackets draft pick Sean Collins messaged me on Facebook and said his Grandpa's from Simpson originally.  My dad infact just told me he knew Jack, and even worked in Sears in Saskatoon with him.  It's a very small world afterall.

This was news to me as I went to tsn.ca.  Marian Hossa signs a one-year deal with Detroit worth 7.4m.  Might as well mail it in.  They can just keep the Cup!

Gotta go, soup's on.
