Baseball Provincials

Not all the Baseball Provincial results came in, and they're not on the saskbaseball website as of now... but here's what I do know.

Midget "AA" in Melville
Melville missed the playoff round
Yorkton R. Miller Cardinals went to the semi-final and lost 11-1 to Lloydminster.
Lloydminster then beat Prince Albert 11-1 in the final.

Midget "A" in Yorkton
Yorkton went 1-2 in the round robin, missing the playoffs. They lost by a run to Lloyd, before beating Nipawin and losing to Watrous.

Junior "AAA" in Regina
Yorkton advanced to the final, and lost 12-2 to the Saskatoon Stallions.
The Stallions will be the Sask Rep at Junior Western Canadians in Yorkton August 22-24.

Bantam "AAA" final results didn't come in from Saskatoon... all I knew was Yorkton won their first game on Friday.

I had a great chat with Mark Magdeleno Sr, on the Cardinals' Coach's Show today. I'll post some or all of it when I go back to work this afternoon. Mark Jr is a catcher for the Cards... Mark Sr's helping out as a batting coach.
